General configuration

You have 2 options to set up:

• Tracking only: Detect click fraud but not block automatically.
• Automatic protection: Detect and block automatically click fraud.

Here you can optionally set up automatic prevention configuration according to 4 options:

- Click frequency: Based on the frequency of IP or IP group clicking on your ad. For example, you set the frequency as twice a day, it means that an IP address or IP group can only click up to 2 times a day on the ad. If IP or IP group clinking on your ad 2 times, that IP or IP group will be blocked from your ad.

Note: In case the blocked IP or IP group are still recorded by Autoads system, these IPs will not be charged.

To enable / disable the configuration, click on the icon below next to the corresponding configuration.

Note:
Only use when you have an intense click fraud to avoid blocking potential customers.
Block configurations will be tested by the customer and manually adjusted to suit the industry and its campaign.
Users need to tes and adjust configuration settings based on CTR.

- Network provider: The system will automatically block IPs according to your network configuration.
            Block by telecom service provider and block directly 3G, 4G mobile network, not blocking wifi.
            If the user use wifi from Dcom or phone with 3G, 4G, system still count as mobile network and block.

Note:
The first click will still be charged for the AutoAds system to identify network of IP.
This feature should not be used for a long time but should be used only at the time when fraud was by a network operator, then it should be turned off and replaced by IP frequency blocking configuration.

- Black IP: The system continuously synthesizes the list of suspicious IPs (IP fraud click on two or more websites in the system will be considered as suspicious IP). Any IP in this list click on your ads will immediately be blocked.

Note: The first click is still charged for the AutoAds system to identify suspicious IP.

- Proxy / VPN: In addition to using 3G to change IP continuously, click hijacker also uses another way as changing IP via Proxy / VPN. To improve fraud click blocking, AutoAds uses IP2Location.com data - the leading unit in identifying Proxy / VPN in the world to detect IP Proxy / VPN. Data is updated automatically by AutoAds once a day.



When you enable this mechanism, IP Proxy / VPN clicking on your ad will be detected and blocked immediately by Novaon AutoAds system.
