How to set up triggers to attract customers to interact?

In today's competitive marketplace, to increase engagement rates and attract potential customers while they visit the site, you need to be proactive.
This means that, even if the website has provided contact methods, promotions, you cannot just wait for customers to click. Instead, you should create scenarios that attract customers' attention by setting triggers that automatically trigger the messages you want to convey.
In this article, we will show you how to set up and use the lead capture trigger on MaxLead, including examples that allow customers to interact and convert more.


Setting up the trigger with MaxLead:
With MaxLead, to manipulate the trigger settings, please go to Settings -> Settings -> Advanced settings. Please note, this feature only applies to customers using Standard or higher packages


At the pop-up popup to set the trigger, you can select the buttons of Multi-channel, Highlight and Pop-up banner.

1. After the website loads

  • Time of activation: Activate the message you want to send as soon as the customer enters the site.

  • Is this trigger appropriate for?When it is necessary to announce a brand new event, welcome all customers, the message will soon appear and reach the majority of visitors.

2. After X seconds the customer is on the site

  • Time of activation: The algorithm starts the timer from the time the page finishes loading, by the time the Xth second of the customer is on the page, a pop up will appear.

  • Is this trigger appropriate for?When you need to send personalized messages to customers.

Choose big X for the message to appear after a certain amount of time. This message cannot reach customers who leave before X, but often deliver higher conversion efficiency.
Note: To know how much X is appropriate for your website, observe the behavior of customers on Google Analytics.

3. Scroll down to 1/2 web page

  • Time of activation: This algorithm will determine whether the customer has scrolled the mouse or the page scroll bar is half the content on the page. The pop up will appear just as the customer scrolled the mouse to this rate

  • Is this trigger appropriate for?The condition of scrolling helps you determine which customers are really interested or have good feedback on the content on your website. It ensures that only those who have read at least one part of the site will see the message. So this is a very suitable condition for creating information collection forms.

Note: The message you set in the trigger appears only once in a 20-minute session of the customer. After the session ends, the new message will be displayed again to avoid causing disturbance to customers.
